FIMADA GROUP sees potential in the area between Anděl and Mrázovka: We want to support its revitalisation
At FIMADA GROUP, we have long been dedicated to the development of public space, safety, and accessibility. We believe that an attractive and functional environment is the foundation for a fulfilling life in the city.
We firmly believe that enormous potential lies in the area located between Anděl and Mrázovka. Although this place currently cries out for change, it has a great starting position to become an important and pleasant connection. Therefore, we would like to actively support its revitalization, renovation, and overall improvement.
Our goal is to transform this neglected place into a modern, safe, and successful connection between Anděl and Mrázovka, which will fully serve:
Local residents as a quieter and more refined neighborhood environment,
Visitors to Prague as a clear and safe passage,
Athletes heading to the nearby TJ Sokol sports complex.
Current state of urban furniture and aesthetics: Scattered atypical benches (in blue and yellow designs) covered with tasteless inscriptions and graffiti. They look neglected and unmaintained.
Cleanliness and greenery: Weeds are growing between the paving stones, which underscores the impression of abandonment. The central glass-and-blue element looks incomplete and is surrounded by provisional protection that does not fit into the public space.
Infrastructure and accessibility: A complex tangle of concrete overpasses, pillars, and paved surfaces places high demands on orientation and barrier-free movement. The combination of unsuitable and damaged furniture with the concrete underpass creates a potentially dangerous and confusing environment.
Potential: Despite the current dismal state, the area has great spatial potential for modern urban design, better lighting, and the creation of a safe, clean zone for pedestrians and athletes heading, for example, to the TJ Sokol sports complex, NH HOTEL, and Karel Gott's Villa.
By supporting this project, we want to help ensure that the space is fully barrier-free, safe, and visually clean for everyone.
